LEARN TO Square Dance
Glenview Squares offers Beginning Square Dance Lessons twice a year — in late January and again in September. The course teaches all the moves needed for people to attend Chicago-area square dances. We welcome single dancers and couples both. Our experienced square dancers will be on hand each week to help out.

plus square dance lessons
Plus lessons are for existing SSD square dancers who want to learn to dance at the next level, Plus, or be more proficient at that level. The Plus course consists of 34 classes divided into 4 sessions. The first session covers the Mainstream calls that are not in SSD, which may appeal to those SSD dancers who want to dance where Mainstream is called, but not want to learn Plus at this time.
Prerequisites for Session 1: student must have completed SSD and been square dancing for at least 6 months, or have instructor approval.
Prerequisites for Sessions 2, 3, 4: student must have successfully completed previous sessions or have instructor approval.
